Arts Council of Calvert County Accessibility Statement

The Arts Council of Calvert County (ACCC) believes that the arts are essential to leading a full and productive life, and reaffirms its support for making the arts available to all people, including those with physical and mental disabilities. Therefore, the ACCC will continue to enhance opportunities for full participation in the arts by people with disabilities, and will assure that their needs are taken into consideration in all elements of the operations of the Arts Council.

The ACCC does not discriminate against any person, and prides itself on maintaining a facility that is accessible to all. The ACCC will strive to provide accessible facilities for all activities and displays.

CalvART Gallery and the ACCC office (located in the same general space) are both wheelchair accessible. Located at street/parking lot level, there is easy access to the Gallery and the ACCC office for all. Anyone requiring an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or who has a complaint or needs further information, should contact ACCC Executive Director Pat Carpenter, The Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator, at 410-257-7005 or pcarpenter@calvertarts.org as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours before the scheduled event.
