  • The Celtic Society of Southern Maryland in partnership with the Calvert Marine Museum presents the Heartstring Quartet, a multi-faceted, unique quartet from the UK boasting some of the most important names in Irish music

  • 7:30 pm

  • Museum Auditorium

  • Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at www.cssm.org

March 10 – Heartstring Quartet Workshops and Concert

  • Calvert Marine Museum in collaboration with the Southern Maryland Celtic Society

  • Famous Celtic guitarists Arty McGlynn & Chris Newman bring a whole new sound to Celtic music

  • 2:00 – 4:00 pm Master workshops are available for $40 in guitar, Irish harp and fiddle (some scholarships available)

  • Concert starts at 7:30 pm in the auditorium (beer and wine available for purchase)

  • Concert tickets are $25 each

  • Meet Jennifer Keats Curtis, author of “Saving Squeak”, a tale that teaches children the importance of rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife while delighting everyone with the details of CMM’s own otter, Squeak.

  • Enjoy a special guest appearance by Linda Hanna, the aquarist featured in the book and the CMM otter at 2:00 pm in the members lounge.

  • Book signing will follow the presentation.
