Highland Cow

Rolling Acres Farm & Tettimer’s Produce Stand is located on land that once served as a thriving cattle and tobacco farm from the 1940s through the 1980s. Over the course of five generations, the farm has evolved to meet the needs of the times and is now recognized for its quality produce, livestock, and agritourism offerings.

In the fall of 2023, Kara and Matt Tettimer created Rolling Acres Farm with the goal of providing meaningful, family-centered experiences to the community. Today, the farm hosts a variety of events and activities including an annual Fall Festival, educational field trips, birthday parties, school and community fundraisers, and more. In 2022, Highland cows were introduced to the farm, adding a unique and beloved feature to the landscape. The idea was inspired by their oldest daughter, who conducted extensive research and presented a compelling case of why Highlands would be an ideal fit for the farm. Their gentle temperament and distinctive appearance quickly made them a favorite among the family and visitors alike.

At the heart of everything they do is a commitment to passing down a love for farming, animals, and the value of hard work to their children and future generations.
