Scholarships from the Arts Council
The Arts Council of Calvert County awards scholarships each year to hardworking, creative Calvert County students who intend to pursue an arts-related degree in college.

More than $20,000 in scholarships have been awarded since the program began. The scholarship program is made possible by donated funds.

Mary Beth Harry Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a qualified art student (Major or Minor in Arts or Arts-related field of study) in honor of Mary Beth Harry. Established in 2011, the Mary Beth Harry Scholarship has awarded over $14,000 to local high school seniors pursuing a further education in the arts.

Kocen Memorial Emerging Visual Art Scholarship
In memory of long-time Calvert County residents Joan and Elliot Kocen, this scholarship is for a graduating senior high school student in Calvert County that intends to pursue a degree in visual arts in college.

In memory of long-time Calvert County residents Joan and Elliot Kocen, this scholarship is for a graduating senior high school student in Calvert County that intends to pursue a degree in performing arts in college.
Applicants for any Arts Council of Calvert County Scholarship must be a graduating senior at a Calvert County high school. Applicants must pursue a college degree in an arts-related field:
