John Cranford

John has been interested in woodworking since shop class in high school. He finally got a woodworking shop in 2017 and started doing projects for himself, family, and friends. John retired in 2020 and spends most of his free time in his shop. He started making wooden flags about four years ago and discovered people were interested enough to buy them, along with some of the other items he has made including custom picture frames as well as some furniture items. He started selling items at a shop in North Beach, MD. When that shop closed due to the building being sold, he looked for another venue and discovered the CalvArt Gallery.
