My artistic journey with ceramics started in high school [like many of us] and did not take on a life of its own until the early 2000's.
I have connected with clay and ceramics because of the endless possibilities in function, form and finish. I studied at the Torpedo Factory art league school for a number of years pursuing the understanding of materials and available firing techniques and the endless challenge of making work, a capturing pursuit for me.
Much of the forms, finishes and colors of my work are an interpretation of the world around me here in southern Maryland. I have had work in shows at The Torpedo Factory, Chestertown galleries, CalvArt Gallery and Annmarie Gardens.
My wife, Marie Bundy and I share a studio in our home.
