Ray Bogle

Ray Bogle has been working with clay for over 40 years and has been exploring Alternative Firing techniques, including Raku, Saggar and Pit Firing, for almost 20 years. Recently, he began exploring the challenging Crystalline Glaze firing technique.

Ray enjoys helping others learn to work with clay and currently teaches at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center in Solomons, Maryland. Additionally, he regularly conducts Alternative Firing Workshops at his studio in Huntingtown, MD and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
