Garrett Music Academy

Established in 2004, the Garrett Music Academy has spent over two decades nurturing musical talent and artistic expression in Southern Maryland. Our faculty of degreed professionals provides personalized private lessons across all instruments—from piano and guitar to voice and percussion—tailored to students of every age and ability. Beyond individual instruction, we create vibrant musical communities through our engaging summer camps, music theater workshops, and acting classes. Our curriculum extends to the visual arts with dedicated drawing and painting classes for both children and adults, allowing creative expression to flourish in multiple forms. We're particularly proud of our specialized music interventions program designed for neurodivergent individuals, creating accessible pathways to musical enjoyment and development. Our ongoing partnership with the Arc of Southern Maryland further demonstrates our commitment to making music education inclusive for everyone in our community.
