Join us for a hands-on community workshop as part of the North Beach Sculpture Project on June 8 from 1pm - 3pm at the Twin Beaches Library in North Beach (Meeting Room West).
The North Beach Sculpture Project is a collaborative initiative focused on cancer awareness and honoring those personally affected by cancer.
Participants will help create beautiful mosaic flowers using a variety of yellow and pink glass pieces that will later be incorporated into a new 4-foot sculpture for the North Beach Sculpture Garden. Glass pieces will be pre-cut, though some additional shaping with nippers may be needed, and the library's team of artists will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.
