Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay, the iconic Rod ’N’ Reel Resort provides a fitting setting for Blue Between Seasons, an exhibition bringing together ten original paintings by ten Calvert County artists.
Inspired by the water, changing seasons, and rhythms of life along the Chesapeake Bay, the exhibition offers ten distinct interpretations of blue—a color that has captivated artists for centuries.
Nestled between the warm oranges of Thanksgiving and the festive reds of Christmas, Blue Between Seasons offers resort guests and visitors a refreshing interlude in blue, revealing how a single color can inspire vastly different artistic expressions.

The ten original paintings will be on display from November 25 through December 9, 2026. Admission is free, and all artwork will be available for purchase.
