Tracy Bensing creates 2D and 3D artworks. Some realism mixed with surrealism
sprinkled with an affinity for Earth and light magic, Tracy's art reflects her perspective
on life and the world at play. Unexpected, bold, bright, thought provoking, and
unpredictable are only a few words to describe her style. She can fake the style of
others or make her own compositions. Her art career took off in San Diego, California
where she lived 3 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. She is inspired by the natural
elements of Earth. As a decorative painter in California, she painted murals, faux
finishes, and canvas commissioned by private residents, commercial businesses, and
government agencies. She continued her decorative painting until 2009 when she
became a faculty member at the Prince George's County Public School Art
Department. Now, a member of the CCPS Art Department, Tracy creates art at her
home studio in Chesapeake Beach, MD. She currently accepts special requests for
mural and decorative painting projects commercial or residential. Tracy is also
available for painting commissions. Feel free to contact her with your project.
