Class Description:

Embark on an enlightening mark-making journey inspired by the masterpieces of Rembrandt, Monet, and Van Gogh, focusing on the intricacies of texture and composition. In this engaging class, we will explore classic academic compositions to help you frame your landscapes confidently. We will examine the distinctive textures and mark-making techniques of these great artists and practice their approaches to refine your own skills. Finally, you will apply these methods to a pre-drawn landscape template, crafting a piece that embodies your enhanced artistic abilities. Seize this opportunity to elevate your creative practice!

All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketching pencils or charcoal. You can use either or both. Beginners are welcome, along with well-established artists.
